Status 4 Feb 2000

Tranny was picked up today to be shipped to Level 10!
Spoke to Pat @ Level 10 and they are already preparing for it
to arrive. They built the new billet torque converter for me and
fabricated the valve body.

I stripped down the engine to the bone...

The shopping list is getting bigger and bigger...

6. AC compressor R-134 conversion kit
8. Turbo oil & water lines
9. Colder spark plugs

17. Injector rubber seals
18. Intake gasket
19. Power steering pump hose
20. Camshaft seals
21. Timing belt cover seals

Inspection of the turbos revealed oil leaking and cracked wastegate!
Check out the cracks in the picture below.

Since the engine internals were rebuilt by the previous owner, I hope it will be reliable for
many miles to come when I replace all the worn parts around it.
