Since the air flow behind the intercoolers is obstructed by the washer tank and the expansion tank, I decided to do something about it.
I went to a junk yard and got properly sized tanks, to fit on top of the intercoolers. I'm glad I got the Greddy ones, cause this leaves some room above them.
I got the washer tank from Opel Astra and the expansion tank from a Nissan Micra.
I didn't bother in keeping the "fillability" of the expansion tank, since you usually don't have to do it. I can still fill it through the hose attached where the radiator cap is. I can check the water level in the tank by removing the corner lens :-) Compromises...

It was a little bit more difficult with the washer tank. I attached a special hose from the filling tube to the top of the tank.

Another problem was the fluid level sensor. It worked exactly the opposite way to the original (empty=no connection) but this was easily solved with a transistor.

I also made new openings in the plastic cover in the wheel well, to let out the hot air. This should improve the cooling noticeably.
