Status Report 2004 Due to experiencing problems with high RPM power, I decided to make my own logging system for the Z. The following picture shows the air flow ratio graph window (I'm using wide band O2-sensors). The next picture shows the pressure and injector duty cycle page. It helps me to keep an eye on fuel delivery and the boost controller operation (Pressure2 curve). I've also developed a third graph window showing the exhaust gas temperature together with ignition point. After numerous runs and tweaks to the ECU map I've come to the conclusion that whatever I do with the map, I still got problems with high end power. The plan for the winter is to replace the cams and valve springs with JWT 400+ ones. Stay tuned! Maciej |
