Status Report 2003

Last years installation of big front brakes prooved to be very efficient but caused the car to be a bit unstable due to the large difference between the front and rear braking force.
I had to do something about it and went for the Stillen rear brake upgrade which was bolt on and still kept the hand brake functionality intact.
This brake combination is really a winner. The car just seems to crouch on the ground when braking hard. This enabled me to start braking less than 100m before a 180 degree turn when going 190km/h DOWN A SLOPE! :-)

Another upgarde for this year was the installation of a 4 point harness (because of all the braking power...).

Even though styling is not a priority number one for me, I could not stand the paint peeling off the rear spoiler. I've got a hold on a pretty unique wing (thanks Thompa!) that suits my taste.

The plan now is to finish my logging system for A/F ratio, exhaust temperature, manifold pressure, MAF-voltage etc. and tune the ECU.
