Status 12 March 2000

Well I've got many things going on right now. You should see increased traffic between USA and Sweden now... :)
The tranny is finished and on it's way back to me.
The turbos are at Turbo Specialties in Birmingham and should be finished tomorrow. It will be a T25/T28 setup with some new type of bearings and turbine wheels clipped to match the new torque converter stall speed.
There is also a big package with miscellaneous small parts coming my way from Courtesy Nissan. There were about 80 parts ordered, mostly hoses, seals, but also O2-sensors, detonation sensor, harness, engine mounts, timing belt, EGR.......
Another package that is on it's way to me is the one I ordered from Primespeed. It contains the 555cc injectors, ECU, Dual POP Charger and 3" Down pipes.
Now, there's one more package on it's way....AVC-R and S-AFC!! I ordered it from Xpress Motorsports via a group buy on www.groupbuycenter.com.

Everything should be here next week or the week after that. It'll be a very busy time for me...
Meanwhile I'm taking care of some cosmetic improvements like:
Painting the plenum...

Painting some stuff in silver...

Painting the black stuff...

Painting valve covers...


The valve covers were painted without removing them from the engine.Actually I painted just their visible parts...lazy me :)
I painted the timing belt covers too and did it with special paint for painting plastic.
The silver stuff was painted with high temp durable paint.
