Holland 2005

The once in a 5 year period Holland Z-car Club meeting is a must to visit for us.
We were very happy with the previous event (see Holland 2000 in the gallery) so we thought that we can't miss out this time.
The first day was focused around getting to know eachother and having fun together.
It begun with diverse fun competitions like cow milking.

We've had a lot of tech-talks of course.

The day continued with racing on the grass (slippery as hell), before we had a nice bbq evening.

The next day was also filled with exciting events, this time on the Assen race track.
We tried how it feels to be up side down in a car and trying to get out.

We practised avoiding sudden obstickles on the road by turning hard left and then right without braking.

We also tried aquaplanning.

We then raced on a part of the Assen track.

The day was finalised by a sprint race (200m) where I raced against a lot of people and managed to win! :)
The following picture was taken at the distribution of prizes.

The funny thing is that I also won the same competition 5 years earlier.
I'll have a go at it in 2010 as well, we'll see...

We had a great time and would like to thank all the organisers and nice people we met.
See you next time! :-)
