Holland 2005 The once in a 5 year period Holland Z-car Club meeting is a must to visit for us. Scooter riding. Sumo wrestling. We've had a lot of tech-talks of course. Here's Marco's strosek Z (he later bought my Shift At Will system). This rally replica belongs to Gus, who is often participating in race events with his car. This is a totaly rebuilt sleeper. Quite cool I recon. This is a turbo converted 240Z with great performance (I know cause we raced). Very well taken care of Zeds in a row. The oldest Z, the FairLady Z. The day continued with racing on the grass (slippery as hell), before we had a nice bbq evening. The next day was also filled with exciting events, this time on the Assen race track. We practised avoiding sudden obstickles on the road by turning hard left and then right without braking. We also tried aquaplanning. We then raced on a part of the Assen track. The day was finalised by a sprint race (200m) where I raced against a lot of people and managed to win! :) The funny thing is that I also won the same competition 5 years earlier. We had a great time and would like to thank all the organisers and nice people we met. |
